My Story / Histoire
Hi there! Welcome. I am a downhill skateboarding athlete and content creator for my sponsors. Since discovering the sport when I was 14, I have consistently pursued it at the highest level. I grew up in San Diego, California to two French parents. After studying for two years and graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Communication, I decided to pursue my passion full-time before returning to University. I lived and trained in Barcelona looking towards the 2023 racing season. Recently, I have returned to school at San Diego State University while I work towards a bachelor’s degree, all the while training, racing and chasing the World Championship title.
What I ride
Downhill skateboarding is an intense sport that balances athletics, skill, and precision. With this, our gear is paramount to our results and safety. The basics include our deck, billet trucks, ball bearings, and high-performance urethane wheels. Our deck is traditionally made out of a wood core and composite materials, reducing torsional flex while taking advantage of the natural dampening properties of wood. Top shelf trucks are precision milled from an aluminum block and meticulously engineered geometry to increase stability without losing agility or maneuverability. We work with the highest caliber ball bearing manufacturers to reduce friction and slop simultaneously. Finally, we ride downhill-specific urethane wheels that balance maximum grip, straight-line speed, and controllability. Along with other detailed pieces, these boards allow us to race shoulder-to-shoulder at speeds up to 70mph without compromising safety.
